@Joey-C Static problems can be caused by incompatibility of the Magix Low Latency driver and your hardware. Since Magix Low Latency is based on ASIO4ALL, it's possible that ASIO4ALL will also cause these problems. Then uninstalling Magix Low Latency

@JULIAN-FLETCHER Try holding CTRL and SHIFT and double clicking on the program icon to start Sound Forge. Keep holding CTRL and SHIFT until a small window appears that will ask you if you want to reset the program settings. Maybe it will work

@Jim-Roshelli MME is an ancient Windows sound driver. Were you using Magix Low Latency or ASIO4ALL? Don't you have a driver for your interface? Please check its manual or the website of the manufacturer. It's not really clear from reading your posts

@Darren-McMaster-Smith There are different ways to choose instruments. Nothing unusual here. Make sure you have selected an ASIO driver in the Audio settings of Samplitude, for example Magix Low Latency. In the same settings set the Monitoring Mode

Thanks for your suggestions rraud. That got me thinking more about all the nitty-gritty details. Rebooting did not help. What DID help was to look at the Options->Preferences->Audio and change the output/playback from ASIO Low-Latency driver

@Lars-Kristoffersen Yeah, I believe this simply shows up, if the audio driver gets enabled. Go into the program preferences. There you can select the audio driver. Usually, you want to select an ASIO driver, for example the Magix Low Latency driver.
