  @Josh-Terry Your firewall or antivirus can block the download. They probably don't like the fact the program downloads EXE files. Try temporarily disable them or edit their settings, so Samplitude can download and install everything.

  @VWC As far as I know, old Music Studio versions have a different audio engine compared to Samplitude. They are identical since Music Studio X8. You can select WASAPI if you use Music Maker ASIO or Flex ASIO in Samplitude.

  @jan99 I think it should work fine in X8 if you install and activate your instruments via the 2023 version. So please install both version of Music Studio. Vita Instruments purchased in the Music Maker in-app-store work fine if you enable the

  @Marc-Caroul Maybe it's a writing or reading permission issue? Are the files saved in the FreezeData folder? Does it make a difference if you run Samplitude as Administrator via a right click on the program icon?

  @VWC I don't use Music Studio X8, but I would guess, it doesn't support WASAPI like Pro X8 because the code base is now identical. But, like I wrote, you can select WASAPI in the Flex ASIO or Music Maker ASIO driver settings. And using something

  @Gerald-Shantz Right click on the audio in the top area of the program and select to split up stereo channels. Then simply click on the '2'-button on the right side of the audio area too enable the second track. Sound Forge and Sound Forge Audio

  @Wistmans-Wood Hi, In Samplitude, you can have and use template projects. Upon startup, you select your setup. Set the starting number of tracks, etc. Click on Project Options: This is where you can set other parameters, like the starting BPM.

  Thanks for the response! I feel real ignorant about now. However, no matter what I do, I do NOT see the word "audio" anywhere! The thing I did notice was after loading the "file", on the top line where the entire file is shown in its small size,

  @Gerald-Shantz Hi, Audio Cleaning Lab is a totally different product from Sound Forge. Magix added the prefix Sound Forge several years ago to be able to put audio editing programs under the same heading, I guess. I have been using it since 2005.
