Issues with the timeline

Dylan-Smith wrote on 2/18/2017, 5:12 AM

For some reason, the timeline has just stopped working . I can still drop audio clips onto the timeline and if you hit play they still do play, but neither the timeline nor the counter move along with the audio. I have tried everything from resetting Music Makers settings back to default, to uninstalling the program and then reinstalling it. The software is up to date as well. Nothing seems to fix this problem. If anyone has a solution it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi

Try resetting the program back to its defaults - File, Settings, Reset . . . .

Then close Music Maker and do a full shut down of the computer - not a restart and then start from cold.

I found out else ware that  after the update you have to reset the program ( trashes any preferences  ) and reboot your machine . it worked for me!

Hi

Same problem. Windows 10 - 64 bit. Magix Music Maker 24.1.4.75.

I've reset program settings to default, shut down, restarted multiple times - playhead and counter won't move when playing. I've tried to uninstall Music Maker so that I can try reinstalling it but it refuses to be uninstalled - giving me error logs to send to Magix - that, surprise-surprise, won't send. Get a message telling me I'm not connected to the net - which I am.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

T.
