thanks a lot for your kind and encouraging comments. I've heard "Midnight Panther" several times, and it's an absolutely amazing song. And somehow it's a "grower": The more I hear it, the more I find to hear "between the lines". It's simply the work of a great musician. What a pleasure listening to this song, great job Griff. I know you didn't play the drums, but as a drummer I appreciate the drum track you laid down, it would be hard to top that on a real set. And of course the ''live'' piano played by you makes the song. It's kinda hard to write music, don't you agree?   haha

Another great piece.  I still have a few that have been on the back burner for several years...it's called writer's/composer's block.  But when you come back to it with new insight, look out!  I'm impressed Griff.  Don't know what more to say.  This is just amazing.  You're going to have to give me some pointers on tradional jazz composition!!!!
