To the development staff at Magix.... when will you be adding external hardware controller compatibility to Magix Music Maker?

I use a Zoom R8 for much of my recording and move the recorded WAV files into MMM 2014 Premium. At mix down I'd like to use my Zoom R8 as a hardware controller with my software to controller the track volumes and shuttle controls. Will this feature be included in a future release? If not, I may be moving to another adequately equipped DAW.

Sorry to say Magix Music Maker is not a "DAW" for professional class there is an another product by the name "Samplitude".

Nice equipment. A power user like you should be using at least Samplitude Music Studio, if not the Pro version. Note that Magix has a range of products with increasing capabilities and price. Don't expect the bottom tier to do what the top tier does.

I agree with John C.B. on the product selection. Music Maker is really a consumer product and not geared toward serious professional recording and mix down. The samplitude pro product is far more suited to that type of project. Having said this, it is also important to understand that while I love and own many Zoom products, Zoom is not at the high end of the recording market. I would consider them more of a proam product than a flat out pro product. Music Maker is more at the amateur end, and Samplitude pro more at the pro end, and even though Samplitued has many of the features of a full blown daw, I would do a free trial on the Samplitude Pro product and if they do not work for you, then look at Ableton, Logix Pro X, Avid Pro Tools, Sony Acid Pro, and Cubase. I really like the samplitude product because it does most of what I need, but you always get what you pay for.
