In audio lab 2004 under file is "load video sound" when I try to us it nothing happens. Screen flashes and thats it.  Is it possible to extract the audio soundtrack from a DVD and edit it and then burn a CD?

Computer is a HP desk top with XP

Thank You

Hi, To accomplish what you want, you need to convert the .vob files on the dvd to something the audio editor will recognize.   If you are trying to take a DVD that does not include copyright material, there are many products out there to convert the files, just do a google search on:  convert vob  and you will get a long list on ways to do this.

If this is a commercial dvd, you are also going to have to figure out how to deal with copy protection and whether or not doing it is even legal.

Good luck
