Best vs. "best" editing software

For curiosity, I tried Cyberlink Powerdirector Ultra 10, because it is so much praised. After using Magix MEP HD Plus, I must say that the Cyberlink product is just elementary and childish. This strengthens my conviction that Magix MEP is really a great software, and I will cling to it also in the future. Don´t trust reviews, test the software yourself. My only concern with MEP is some artifact production (blurring of dark areas) when increasing contrast.

Vesku I am in complet agreement with you on the Cyberlink product I tried it and had very similar thoughts.  That product was also prone to frequent crashes.  I am running a 1.7 GHZ AMD64 Quad Core with 6GB RAM so any of the top video editing products should have no problem running on my system and MEP has proven that because so far it has never crashed.  By the way I have also tried Corel Video Studio Pro X4, Adobe Premeire Elements 10 and Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum and none of them even comes close to the Magix product.
