Hello dear video cutter,
AVG Antivirus and Avast seem to mark some of our dlls as dangerous after updating the "virus definitions" from August 22nd, respectively the heuristics for detecting potentially dangerous files.
This is a so-called "False positive" detection!
Our support is currently in contact with both companies. Unfortunately I can say from experience that a correction of the detection schemes can take a long time.
Until then, only an exception rule in the virus program can help. How this works for the respective virus program can be found in the documentation of the virus program.
If the files have been moved to "Quarantine", you can create an exception rule for each file. If the files have been deleted by a very restrictive setting, the only solution is a complete uninstallation and reinstallation (disable virus scanner during installation).
Best Regards
Frank
