Can two different versions of MMM Maker co-exist?

I've MMM Premium 2020 and now I've purchased MMM Premium 2023.

I know 2023 is 64 bit versus 32 bit of 2020.

I suppose a project made by 2020 won't work in 2023 for this reason

So I ask to myself if it's useful to have both of them installed and if they can co-exist or they could be in conflict.

What's your advice?

If I should uninstall 2020, will its soundpool, collection and instruments be still available?

Thaks a lot for any help

Marco

@marcopic Are both versions registered to the same user account? Then all features should be transferred to version 2023. You can see in the welcome screen, if other versions of Music Maker are registered to your account.

I think the old 2020 version can load Magix Object Synths instruments like Robota, Loop Designer or the old variant of Beatbox. This isn't possible with newer versions. The Song Maker works differently in Music Maker 2020. This is why I kept this version on my computer. It generates different results.

If you didn't use removed or changed features your projects should load fine in Music Maker 2023. Some versions ago I tried to load old projects from 20 years ago and they still loaded. Of course, the effects wouldn't load because they changed and weren't the same.

Yes, both of two versions (2020 e 2023 just purchased) will be under the same user account and registred.

So in your experience two different versions can co-exist together, side by side, even if results could be different. Have I understood well? Can I surely install 2023 besides 2020?

@marcopic Yes, 2020 and 2023 should work fine side-by-side. But the new 64 bit versions replace each other, so if you get version 2024 then it will automatically uninstall version 2023. Of course, your features of version 2023 will be transferred to version 2024.

That was all clear to me.

Thanks a lot for your kindness
