Questa è la storia di Alvaro Veganzi detto “Gomez”, un bizzarro uomo che fu un contadino e che ha fatto la sua abituale dimora in una casetta giocattolo accanto ad una vecchia cabina telefonica. Gomez vive con un coniglio cieco. Di notte osserva il cielo e le stelle e utilizza il telefono non più funzionante per comunicare con abitanti di altri mondi. Indossa sempre abiti usati, ma puliti che gli vengono regolarmente donati dalla gente del paese ed i contadini gli offrono un po’ di cibo, altrimenti rubacchia qualche ortaggio dai campi per nutrirsi e condivide le carote con il coniglio. Qualche volta è depresso e si abbandona a struggenti e confusi ricordi. Quando un giorno il coniglio muore, Gomez decide che è venuto per lui il momento di abbandonare la sua dimora ed incamminarsi verso una meta immaginaria.
This is the story of Alvaro Veganzi known as “Gomez”, a bizarre man who was a farmer and who made his usual home in a toy house next to an old telephone booth. Gomez lives with a blind rabbit. At night he observes the sky and the stars and uses the broken telephone to communicate with inhabitants of other worlds. He always wears used, but clean clothes that are regularly given to him by the people of the village and the farmers offer him some food, otherwise he steals some vegetables from the fields to feed himself and shares the carrots with the rabbit. Sometimes he is depressed and indulges in poignant and confused memories. When the rabbit dies one day, Gomez decides that the time has come for him to leave his home and set out for an imaginary destination.
Dies ist die Geschichte von Alvaro Veganzi, bekannt als „Gomez“, einem bizarren Mann, der Bauer war und in einem Spielzeughaus neben einer alten Telefonzelle lebt. Gomez lebt mit einem blinden Kaninchen. Beobachten Sie nachts den Himmel und die Sterne und verwenden Sie das kaputte Telefon, um mit Bewohnern anderer Welten zu kommunizieren.
