The "Live Performer" feature turns Music Maker into a fully functional sampler. To use Live Performer, follow these steps:

  • Open the Store in the upper right-hand corner of the Media Pool.
  • In the Store, go to "More features" and activate the "Live Pads & Live Sets" package.
  • Once you have activated the package, a small area called "Live" will appear in the central-right area of the program (beneath the tracks).

Live Sets can be played using your keyboard or a connected MIDI keyboard.

We highly recommend using a USB 2.0 port to connect the MIDI keyboard. Be sure to connect the keyboard to your computer before starting the program.

Check the program settings ("P" key) in the "Audio/MIDI" tab to make sure the driver for the MIDI keyboard is set as the MIDI input device.

The MIDI keyboard can also be recorded. Note: For technical reasons, the MIDI notes are not displayed until the recording has been stopped.

In some cases, you may need to uninstall your webcam software (if it is using all your USB bandwidth).

We also recommend installing the latest USB chipset drivers for your motherboard.
