Sometimes your preferred audio device isn't listed in the "Audio", "Wave" or "Audio Device" tab under "Options" > "Preferences".
To fix this problem, follow these steps:
- First, check to make sure the audio device is enabled in the Windows Control Panel.
- Then, check the device settings in the program. To do this, go to "Options" > "Preferences". In the "Wave", "Audio" or "Audio Device" tab, check to make sure your sound card or "Windows Classic Wave Driver" is selected as the playback and recording device.
If this doesn't solve the problem, download and install the latest drivers for your audio device from the manufacturer website.
