Reinstalling the application will solve the problem most effectively.
- Select "Start > Apps and Features".
- Select "Video Pro X" and click on "Uninstall".
Now delete the Video Pro X folders under the following paths:
- C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X8
- C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X8
- C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X9
- C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X9
- C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X10
- C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X10
- C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X11
- C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X11
- C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X12
- C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X12
- C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X13
- C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X13
- C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X14
- C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X14
If you do not see the folders, access the control panel and select "Folder Options".
Under "Hidden files and folders --> View" simply activate the option "Show hidden files, folders and drives" .
Now you can log in to your account on www.magix.com, click on "My Products", download your software and start the installation procedure.
