Reinstalling Video Pro X

Reinstalling the application will solve the problem most effectively.

  • Select "Start > Apps and Features".
  • Select "Video Pro X" and click on "Uninstall".

Now delete the Video Pro X folders under the following paths:

  • C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X8
  • C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X8
  • C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X9
  • C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X9
  • C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X10
  • C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X10
  • C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X11
  • C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X11
  • C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X12
  • C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X12
  • C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X13
  • C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X13
  • C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X14
  • C:\User\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X14

If you do not see the folders, access the control panel and select "Folder Options".
Under "Hidden files and folders --> View" simply activate the option "Show hidden files, folders and drives" .

Now you can log in to your account on www.magix.com, click on "My Products", download your software and start the installation procedure.
