Under the Preview Quality button in the Video Preview window, there are four preview quality levels which can be selected:
- Draft: Reduces the resolution of the preview and pixelates the video picture.
- Preview: Keeps the resolution the same and reduces the frame rate.
- Good: Sets the resolution and frame rate to a mid-range value.
- Best: Matches the resolution and frame rate to the project settings.
The preview quality levels in VEGAS make it possible to work on broadcast-quality videos on slower computers.
