The jog wheel and shuttle controls are hidden by default in Movie Edit Pro, but they can be opened at any time. 

1. To do this, open the Hamburger menu containing the advance preview settings in the top left-hand corner of the preview monitor. The hamburgerr menu is represented by three parallel horizontal lines. 
2. Select "Visible jog/shuttle". The jog wheel and shuttle controls should now be visible.
3. If you don't see them, drag the edge of the preview monitor to make it large enough to display all of the controls.
