These instructions will help you install your "Freedrum" sticks quickly and easily on Win 10.
- First install your MAGIX software.
- Download the "Freedrum Console" from the links below.
- Install the "Freedrum Console".
- If a Bluetooth device is already installed on your PC, deactivate it through the Windows Device Manager.

- Connect the "Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle" to the USB port of the PC and wait one to two seconds until Windows has set up the "Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle".
- Open the Windows settings for Bluetooth devices "Add Bluetooth devices". Each sensor must be set up individually.
- To do this, briefly press the LED button on the sensor once (LED lights up blue).
- The Freedrum sensors log on with the name "FD1 v7" or "FD1v8", for example.
- The sensors should connect automatically. When a sensor is connected, it will stop flashing blue and light up permanently green.
- Repeat the process until all sensors have been installed.
Sensorware Settings
- If the sensors are switched off, you will see a red dot behind the device name.
- With a simple click on the LED button you can switch the sensors on or off.
If a sensor does not connect, restart it and click on "Reconnect Sensors". This function can be found in the "Connections" menu.
Freedrum & Music Maker
- Start Music Maker.
- Open the program settings ("P" key).
- Click on the "Audio/MIDI" tab
- Activate the Freedrum sensors as MIDI input.
- Download and install the Freedrum Rock VST drum plug-in for free via Music Maker Store.
- Drag and drop the VST instrument from the instrument tab into the arrangement and start performing.
