To create a DVD in Photostory Deluxe, follow these steps:
- Start by making sure you are using the latest version of Photostory Deluxe. To do this, go to the in-program "Help" menu and perform an online update.
- Start Photostory Deluxe and load your project.
- Go to "File" > "Settings" > "Program" (or press the "Y" key on your keyboard) to open the program settings.
- Open the "Options" tab and check to see if the export option "Hardware acceleration for MPEG-2/MPEG-4 export if possible" is enabled. If it is, DISABLE it and click "OK".
- Switch to the "Burn" interface, click the "Burn" button and select DVD as the type of disc you want to create.
- In the burn dialog, click "Encoder settings".
- At the top of the encoder settings, select a preset for your project. If your project is 4:3, select "Standard DVD PAL"; if it is 16:9, select "Standard DVD PAL widescreen".
- Click "Advanced" and make sure the CPB value is set to 224.
- Click "OK" to close the advanced settings, then start the burn procedure.
If you are asked about certain files related to a previous burn project, check the two boxes to encode the menus and select "Encode all" to ensure that the project is completely re-encoded.
