1. Try the following first: 

• Before starting to record, unplug all USB devices from your computer which are not needed for the recording (except for your keyboard and mouse) to avoid any device conflicts.
• Try using a different USB port on your computer for analog recordings. 
• Do not use a USB hub or USB 3.0 port.
• Connect the USB video converter directly to your computer (do not use a USB extension cable).
• If you have been using the USB ports on the front of your PC until now, try connecting the video converter to one of the ports on the back.

2. In addition to the tips provided above, also install the latest drivers for your USB video converter.

1. Save the archive to your PC, then extract the contents of the archive to a folder on your PC.
2. Before installing the drivers, pause all security programs on your PC (firewall, antivirus). Run setup.exe as an administrator. To do this, right-click the .exe file and go to "Run as" > "Administrator".
3. If drivers are already installed on your PC, select "Remove" and restart the installation.

3. Reset the program to its default settings:

• Right-click the program icon and run the program as an administrator.
  
• Go to "File" > "Settings..." > "Reset program settings to defaults". 
• Try recording again. 

4. If the picture and sound are out of sync:

• Click the "Advanced View" button.
• Enable the option "Optimize for older or low-performance computers". 
• Under "Recording quality", select "Custom" and remove the value entered under "Manual drift correction" so that it can be regenerated the next time you record.
