If a CD cannot be played by a playback device, it may be one of the following reasons:
- Some older CD players cannot playback burned CD-Rs or CD-RWs.
- Some older CD players can only play specific CD type and/or brands.
Try the following fixes:
- Test various blank disc brands.
- Burn the music to a CD-RW. It may be possible for the playback device to read these discs.
- Reduce the writing speed.
- Ensure that the CD has been finalized at the end of the burn process.
