Thank you! This is great advise and I will try to remind myself to follow. Thing is I don't know what I am going to sing so my confidence is usually low. It is like running threw a forest in the darkness of night time. Some times the moon is bright and I can see a clear path and other times the sky is over cast with clouds blocking out all the light. But I still run. And too it can be a challenge to have fun when I don't know where I am going lol. : ) I imagine most people have a course they take in music and know what is going to happen. I think Bach was a master at creating music you can and almost have to anticipate. You would know better than I. Your music history is absolutely amazing. And you teach. You should with all your knowledge. You have taught me something and I just met you. That is a true gift. Thank you big time really. I will try to be more confident in my singing and if not at least have more conviction even if I don't know where I am going. I hope no one is listening to closely in case I scream out directions of safe passage and it happens to be a cliffs edge they are headed for. Lol. I think I will stop now. You have inspired me to write. Thank you. Now if I could just write a lyric and sing it. Lol. Sorry I am a basket case and really an experimental musician at best. I am nothing. Though I feel at times I could be something greater than nothing in the way of music. But for now its fun when I can and self exploration at best.
