There are so many ways to express ourselves in music. Well first I always get the sense of accomplishment and the feeling that I had some fun in completing and submitting a song to the community. This piece is what I often call a semi-classical instrumental. Whatever we may call the genre of the song, it has some kind of mood and meaning. In 'On The Bus To Somewhere' there is a kind of bitter-sweet sound to it. It could represent a transition in life, of coming from and going to whatever to wherever. Most of my songs are about journeys of some sort and those positive and good vibes that have been noticed. Most of my friends say that whatever type of song I do there are those good vibes that give a sense of happiness in the light of whatever is being felt or expressed.

And my friends are right about that. This song will take you on a journey from somewhere to another somewhere. If you have hope in your heart there will always be a somewhere that is beyond our dreams ;)

I hope you enjoy 'On The Bus To Somewhere' ... With all my best ...

Mark ;)

Very creative, it floats through the atmosphere, with lots of nuances and for me it has something of Pink Floyd in the opening scenes of their songs.
A great piece, I like it very much ❤️

An interesting slower pace and very relaxing, as befits ambient and chill. Some of the instruments sounded like Asian string ones. Probably those weren't the synths. A musical journey that invites us to reflect on where we come from as well as where we are headed. Bitter-sweet is appropriate for that and yes, a positive sentiment is kept. Then, the journey comes to its end and it's time to embark on a new one, or just rest.

Best wishes,

Philip-J

Hi Mark, I agree with Stoni, there are some Pink Floyd vibes, a little blade runner and some Emerson, Lake and Palmer, we subconsciously inherit so many musical influences in our life which is embedded in our creative thought, i enjoyed your piece very much, a journey we all travelled, cheers 😉👍🍺🍺🍺
