In der Nacht vom 30. auf den 31.05.2008 wurde mein Wohnort von einem orkanartigen Unwetter heimgesucht. Die ca. 1 km breite Schneise der hauptsächlichen Zerstörung zog sich quer durchs Dorf. Bäume wurden entwurzelt und Dächer abgedeckt. Meinem Zuhause ist nichts geschehen, da es außerhalb des Zentrums der Verwüstungen lag. Es fiel innerhalb von 40 Minuten unglaublich viel Regen und der Sturm erreichte Geschwindigkeiten von 140 km/h.
Das Foto wurde am Abend danach aufgenommen und zeigt die überschwemmten Bach-Auen, die dreißig Zentimeter hoch überflutet waren.

Bei so einem Ereignis gibt es interessante Fotos aber auch nasse Füße. Eine schöne Lichtstimmung mit interessanten Spiegelungen im Feuchtgebiet.

Ich habe mal bei 120 km/h in der S-Bahn gesessen, an entwurzelten Bäumen vorbei"schaukelnd"..... - da hast Du  wirklich unwahrscheinlich Glück gehabt in dieser Nacht. Aber warum hast Du das Foto aufge"hübscht"? Ich hätte auch ein s/W-Foto akzeptiert....

Du hast mit dieser schönen Aufnahme als solche eine Naturkatastrophe dokumentiert.

Nicht zu übersehen ist, dass die Regenwälder in Gefahr sind ( somit auch unser Klima ), weil ein Teil der " Gattung Mensch " blind ist vor Gier, alles Brauchbare zu Geld zu machen.

Möglicherweise sind diese Katastrophen der " Versuch " einer Selbstregulierung der Natur.

Deine Information dazu lässt mich erschauern....schlimm für alle Betroffenen. Das Schicksal/Zufall hat dich bewahrt....
