To My Dear Friends in the Magix Community
This song is called "Let Your Love Shine Through",
which I composed and was recorded in an 8 track.
studio in 1984. No pictures were taken. and this recording
was achieved with a microphone in front of speakers as
I am unable to find the means to record to my computer
from the cassette tape. for a clean copy.
The photo in this video is when John and I bought
12 hours of time in another 8-track studio in February
1985 from 8 o'clock in the evening to 8 o'clock in morning.
It was around 5 degrees outside.
I forgot all about these.
photos but my sweet Kathy has unearthed them.
in her doings around the house.
I made this video for the history that it is. and for
my friends who enjoy the analog sound which is rare.
these days. My fingers do not respond to my muscle
brain and numbness are prevalent. I am happy that.
that part of my life happened and the friends I encountered.
back then were a gift from God. Here are the lyrics that I started.
and Kenny finished and sang Brilliantly.
"Let Your Love Shine Through"
Watching the sunrise all of the time,
The sunset in your eyes let me know you are mine
Come on Baby, don't you think I've been true all this time
You've got your life in your hands
Don't make a fool of the man who loves you
You got to understand, let your love shine through
You say you love me, that you thought you were blind
The things that you don't see, you make up in your mind
Come on baby, don't you think I've been true all the time
You've got your life in your hands
Don't make a fool of the man who loves you
You got to understand, let your love shine through,
Shine through, shine through, shine through
Shine through, Yeah.
Shine through, shine through, shine through
Shine through, Yeah.
And give a big round of applause for Bob our drummer who is
nothing less than Awesome (what a wonderful character he was)
Affectionately, Your music friend,
CHRIS
This was a three-day project.
