Another quickie, using Magix only kit. Still following the somewhat sad path. More of a jazz combo of instrumentation for this one. Centruy Keys, Sax, Upright Bass, String Ensemble and Urban Drums. Nothing heavy, nor particualrly complicated. All vst stuff of course, using the piano roll.

The atmosphere you have conjured is superb. A quiet unease. Reminds me of a noir setting. A dark, seedy cinematic atmosphere.

Excellent use of stereo and space.

Hi Nick,

You call it sad, I call it Cool! The bass line grabs your attention, the drums set the mood and then you float the piano lines and horns over the trance inducing melody.

Like Roxall said, very film noire like feeling.

Absolutely loved it! Into my fav's it goes.

I don't have to close the blinds, sitting in the attic...

But I have to listen to this music. Because it is, again, catching my attention from the very beginning. The bass and the main instruments piano and horns are ear-catching. The strings dropping in later are a wonderful add to the atmosphere.

I agree with the previous commentaries - could well imagine to hear this music in a film noir.

Great stuff. Love it. Another one for my fav folder.

song as a whole is of great quality.
music as always of a high sound and noise content.
the bass is semplemente magnificent.
still a great test of compositional skills
