Folks, Here is a tribute by Maynard James & Clay Wilson to the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We hope you enjoy our new song, and God bless you.~~~Clay Wilson & Maynard James P.S. Lyrics are below.

DR. MARTIN LUTHER
KING

LYRIC &
MUSIC/MAYNARD COOPER JAMES & CLAY BRIAN WILSON

Intro.:

Verse: DR. MARTIN
LUTHER KING

Wanted unity to guide
us,

Wanted unity for all
the things they do

That will divide us.

For all the people he
stood tall,

For all those waiting
in the hall.

Here’s a dream for
you and me,

Here’s a place for us
to be

For a peace to set us
free.

Bridge: We’re
inspired by his words

Rest assured his love
was real

And his heart
revealed,

His heart revealed.

DR. MARTIN LUTHER
KING

(Instrumental Lead
Guitar Solo Interlude)

Verse: DR. MARTIN
LUTHER KING

Wanted unity to find
us,

Wanted unity to bring
to every man

A bit of kindness!

For all the people
far and wide,

For all the people
who have cried.

In our hearts our
love will grow,

Here’s a dream for us
to know,

For a peace to set us
free.

Bridge: We’re
inspired to share the words

There’s a love that
should be heard,

And a hope for all
mankind

That’s color-blind,

That’s color-blind,

That’s color-blind.

Coda: Does it seem
like the good die young?

Why do the good die
young?

Thank you so much, Mike and JessieSt.James; greatly appreciated, but most of the credit goes to my dear friend Maynard James for bringing this tribute song to Martin Luther King to life, and his holiday I believe is January 21st here in the United States of America.
