Hi Granny, I just wrote about a two page long comment about this and this web site ate it. LOL After i clicked "send" i have no idea where it went. :-) So, here is the short version: Don't pre-mix the two versions of yourself. Put all three 1st generation versions on the timeline of yourself and key the green out. You are mixing one fresh version with a copy and the copy is degraded, or so it appears. I could be wrong. :-0 Also, when you shoot yourself, zoom in or move the camera closer so the entire background is filled with green, this way you don't have to crop and zoom in with the editor. This will avoid any more loss of resolution. Try that and see what happens, i think you will find MEP14+ will key as well as the other program. {wink} I'd have to have your clips to duplicate the problem, but from here this may be the solution. I hope it helps you. :-D God bless you, J.

Thank you DaDat, it's been a while since I made this clip, and I've really have a better handle on the chromakey, so much so, that I'm now teaching others how to use their webcam and this program to be very creative.   People don't know what they missing with MEP14.  It's the best product  on the market so far.   I ought to know,  I've tried many of them.... which are 1. very expensive    2. not granny friendly    3. cannot speak granny language    4. just to complicated     MEP really helps you make your videos look polished and professional w/o the headache.
