ASTRAL REFLECTIONS - GIL RODAS NAVAS AND GALASYAN SIDERAL HURKESTRA

(Joseph Domino – Eventi Jazz)
In multiple collaborations undertaken by Franco Galateo aka galaegala and Sandro Glavina outside the Frasan circuit Galaglav, but still adhering to policies MITS, this album ASTRAL REFLECTIONS  is inspired by original music of composer Gil Rodan-Navas. It is a careful job of reworking, of arrangements, additions and executions of Galasyan Sideral Hurkestra directed by Franco Galateo plus the supervision of Sandro Glavina, engaged in the direction of the Research Laboratory of Electronics and Contemporary Sounds. Many credit goes to the artist Lunar Man who oversaw the transcription and adaptation of the scores of original music by Gil Rodan-Navas. The musical outcome is a remarkable fusion of cosmic-electronic with contemporary music, ambient atmospheres at times relaxant at times with a rich supply of sound solutions that worthily represent the typical descriptive tensions of the thriller-soundtrack . The work is impressive and the variability of sound matrices is intense, with continuous emotional passages. This album fully demonstrates how the collaborative sharing of experiences lead to good results. But the last word is up to the listener that, if he wants to immerse themselves in the opera, can lives a personal experience emotionally. (Joseph Domino – Eventi Jazz)

Hi Franco

This reminds me of music from an Alfred Hitchcock movie (which used to scare the crap out of me  )

I think you used just the right amount of dissonance to hold the interest of the listener/

It seems I always asy the same thing but really nice job on this song

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

Ciao Signori:

Very nice. The track might - in some parts work as music for meditation. The arrangement of pads and soundscapes alsways seems so simple - but it isn't it is hard work. The more freestylish parts at the end are a matter of taste, but I like them to. So I would say: Molto bene, amici! (Only the ending resp. the fadeout is a bit to fast. But that is no problem at all.)

Ciao miei amici molto creativo ,
