I made this song when I realized that a relationship very dear to me was going to be forever changed. What happened was not any one persons fault, and this made it difficult to accept since it ended up simply being life, past relationships and just the grind of modern society that dealt us this blow. I reflected on our friendship. All of it, and I found myself grateful to have had her in my life at all. All the experiences we shared will be cherished and I've learned that all our emotions have equal value. Joy and Pain deserve to be given equal attention after all I've heard it said that all the early heartache and pain you suffer and all that follows is preparing you for a greater pain, like the loss of a parent or a spouse. A friendship remains, it's just different now, and that's ok....No big drops or any fancy effects, this is just how I felt at the time, sad and grateful Jeremy 🙏🍄
