Hello my friends,

Here is something different for you. A photo of me and the silk clothe that saved my life when I jumped from a C 141. One of 26, including 3 night jumps, one in the rain of a thunderstorm. Every parachute (that opened) was a hero to me. No music now. I am just here to ask all of you that commented on my "The Four Pianos" to go to that page and see my quote of appreciation. Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Thank you, my friend, Jochen, not much skydiving in a troop jump but the rules still apply. Close. I believe this was number 13 or 14, a "Holliday" jump (no equipment). Last one before going over. Best regards.

For me, I was 20 years old (1965) Maturity Value (17 years old) I found something the other day that blew my mind that some in the community may find interesting. It is an interview of a soldier I knew in VN., who gave a spot-on account of our first contact. My comment to him has been pinned by him. Check it out. Thank you for your honoring me. I am now compelled to submit my real instrument "Nam" that I composed and played, back in 1986 and I will use my photos for a video. You may remember "Nam", I submitted a long time ago but was removed for reasons I forget. I will dig it up and try again with my video. No big deal, just another story. Thank you, my friend. And in answer to your question, no, the match kept blowing out.😆Two packs a day was the norm and three packs on a bad day. and so now I have COPD on top of my PTSD. No regrets, it's poetry. lol
