Do you know of any Recording Software that has an installation CD instead of installation DVD?

Some older versions of MMM came on one or more CD's, but I don't know exactly when they made the transition to DVD.

Instead of investing more money in more software, a DVD drive would really be the best investment at this point.

(i mean) Would it be pretty hard to do by myself ?

That depends on your computer.  If you have an open 5.25" bay (like the one your CD drive is in), you simply purchase and install the DVD drive in the empty slot.  Otherwise, you would remove the CD drive and install the DVD drive in its place.  If you're not confident doing the work yourself, you shouldn't have any problem finding someone who can.

A DVD drive can play DVD's and CD's.

Well, it's really not that difficult, but it can be intimidating if you've never done anything like that before.  The DVD drive should come with complete installation instructions.

Ok Thanks. I think I'll give it a try.

I see there are a few "how to" video's on Youtube.  You should watch one or two to see if you're up to the task.  Just do a Youtube search for "install DVD drive".  Good luck!
