Ive upgraded to Windows 7 and i cant install Music maker 15 When i start the program it tells me to insert the dvd and restart the program... it also tells me to start the program with admin permissions ... and i did install it with admin permissions.

what should i do?

Hi there,

Try installing this in Windows Vista compatibility mode (right-click). This might be the problem here, as the program wasn't really designed for Windows 7. However, most Vista programs should be pretty unproblematic under 7 once you run them in compatibility mode. Once it is installed, run the actual application in compatibility mode as well to avoid problems.

That said, it does actually sound like the installation was successful and the program is already in the system. Sounds more like the on-disc copy-protection is just acting up. Magix tech support can help you with this. Go to the support website and get the "Unlockmaster" download from the tools section. Run the application and request an unlock code for the Magix program you're having these problems with. This will generate a request in Magix' system and they will get back to you with the code.
