Hi,

I just checked the windows OS compatibility site and Xara Web Designer v5 is not showing up on the list for either 32 or 64 bit versions of windows 7.  That does not mean it won't work at all it just means that you may need to run it in compatibility mode but that too may not be perfect.

Here is the windows 7 compatibility site http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?l=en-us&type=Software&s=xara%20web%20designer

You may want to think about downloading the free trial of the current version and see if that works with your web files.

Good Luck

Hi

Are you saying the finished website you have uploaded is being distorted - by this do you mean that certain elements are not in the position they should be?

Which web browser(s) are you viewing the site with?

Is the site for public viewing?  If so please PM me the website address.

I suspect that Web Designer 5 is creating code which is not fully compatible with the browser you are using which I suspect may be Internet Explorer 9 in which case try turning on compatability view, the button is at the end of the address bar next to the reload icon.

Georges recommendation to update Web Designer is advisable.

John
