Will Samplitude Music Studio 14 work on Windows 8? Windows 7?

I am going to be buying a new computer soon and wanted to know if Samplitude Music Studio 14 will work on Windows 8? It is possible for me to buy a computer with Windows 7 if needed.

Hi,

Probably not. I think that the first version that Magix made Samplitude Music Studio compatible with Win 8 was either 2013 (version 19) or 2014. Since you're buying a new computer, maybe it's time to also upgrade SMS to 2015 and take advantage of the 64bit version.

For anyone who wants to know, it does not work with Windows 8.1. In fact, it will not even install on it.
