Why oh why, does MAGIX crash? when dragging WAV files

Hi,

I've got MMM16 and ever since I bought it I've only had problems!

I've had this before what I'm gonna say. I purchased some WAV samples (4411 kbps) but whenever I (try to) use them via ''file manager'' (dragging them in) MAGIX just crashes! Some short files or so it does the rest don't work. (adding the WAV/soundsamples as styles doesn't add them as soundpools either)

ignore this bit if u want or are in favour of magix:

(I'm rather sick of magix and that is an understatement, I don't recommend magix to anyone who wants a well working program, in my opinion it is a rip off.  Although I like the idea of the program/easy to use.)

If anyone helps me, I thank them dearly.

Hi

What happens if you create your own wav files in MMM16 at 44.1kHz sample rate and then try to import them?

Also:

    Which OS are you running?

Do you have any codec packs eg KLite etc installed?

Do the sound clips play OK in another media player?

John

Hi,

thanks for replying.

Well, meanwhile I found out that dragging the files from the computer (folder directory) to magix does work!

Only when dragged from 'file manager'' it doesn't work. So it's nothing wrong with the files.

It is just not practical to listen to the sounds via 'file manager' and then having to (look up the files &) drag the files straight from the PC into magix.

the sounds work fine in other players like winamp/windows media player.

My PC:

Windows 7 Home Premium (service pack 1)

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 2.10 GHz

64 bit system
