Why my timeline does not play sound correcly when I insert an AVI File

When I introduce Avi File in Magix Pro6 Timeline the sound play distorted same as gallopping it does not matter if I lower the volume or not? All other video format plays OK. I try to uninstall and Reinst6all the program with no solution. All Other video Editing Programs plays OK. I have all the updates installed since I had to replace my C DRIVE and no other malfunctions except with Magix PRO6 software does anybody experience similar malfunction

Do you mean Magix Video Pro X6 ? If so then please use the full name of the program.

The problem is with the AVI not the program so the reinstall would fix nothing

Does the AVI file play normally in Windows Media Player?

When you use the Create audio waveform on the AVI file does it look like this

What is the source of the AVI file?

Please use MediaInfo to analyse the AVI file and post the results ( in Tree view ) here.
