Why isnt Magix AUDIO studio part of the Magix music studio 17?? I feel completely gyped. Magix music studio 2005 came with the AUDIO studio and that was ALL I EVER used and ALL I NEED. I paid for this music studio 17 and can not even use it.

I purchased this music studio 17 and can not even use it. I do not want a GRID. I want detailed record options for vocals. Thats all I ever used magix for. What a waste of money.

Music Studio 17?

I didn't know there was a Music Studio 17... It switched to Samplitude 11.5 Producer.

Where did you find this software? It is not on the Magix website for North America. I am curious... Is there a way you can take a screen shot?

I used to use Music Studio (v2000, gen 5) back in the late 90s it always came with a Audio side and a MIDI side. The latest software which is the Samplitude 11.5 Producer is no different in that regard... with the exception that the midi tracks are now integrated with the audio tracks.... so you can set the track to the type you want (by default it is audio).

Are you sure you didn't purchase Music Maker 17? If you did, then you purchased the wrong product... Music Maker 17 has audio but it is based on loop or sample arrangement and not multi-track audio recording.

A screen shot of the interface will clear that right up...

I did Google Music Studio 17, and it does exist in Europe but from the screen shots it is exactly like the Samplitude 11.5 Producer that was released in North America. It has both Audio and MIDI.

I am not sure what else to tell you...
