Why is Video Pro X not displaying imported video properly

frankd.director wrote on 4/22/2014, 3:45 PM

I have been using Video Pro X (v 1.5) for quite some time now.  I recently had a HDD crash and upgraded my OS to Windows 7 Ultimate.

I recently started a project using Muvizu software and the rendered sequences work just fine.  However, importing them into Video Pro X gives me problems

When I import media into the editor, it cuts off the sequence to only a few seconds, usually 6-8 seconds of video.  Not nearly the amount of information needed to edit the piece properly.

No matter what I do, the result is the same; the media is cut short and uneditable...

Any suggestions or comments???

Thanks in advance

A couple of long shots - not sure if this program setting was in VPX1.5 - recreate frametable on import - otherwise Rt click  video track > create frametable new.

Try Running the program > Right click the .exe > Properties > Compatability Tab > Run program in compatibility mode > XP Service Pack 3.

Thanks for the reply and solution.  Although VPX1.5 DOES NOT have 'create frametable', I did however notice that the snap edit point was set(?).  Once I deleted the snap edit point I was able to "open" the sequence to it's full length and edit it as needed.

Thanks so much for your help.  BTW  the Compatability was also helpful.  Thanks again.  FD
