It's probably the metronome, to the right of the numbers you'll see a loop button then three rectangle buttons stacked on top of each other. If the middle rectangle button is highlighted then click to turn it off. But first make sure you are not in the easy viewing layout. You can fix that by look at the top left. There are two icons, one square and one with four small squares. Press the one with four.
