I burned a video I made to my internal hard-drive and also burned the same video to a blu-ray disc.
The voice soundtrack came out the same on each - the volume level was the same.
But the music soundtrack - was much lower/quieter when I played the blu-ray on my tv (of course via my blu-ray machine) than when I played the file that I had burned to my computer hard drive on my computer.
The voice track sound came out at the same level of loudness when played on my tv and computer.
It was only the music soundtrack that came out at a different level of sound - much different volume level
Why is the music soundtrack level so much lower when burned to a blu-ray?
I found the below instructions afterward but still have questions.

The recommended settings for a Blu-ray are rendered in two parts, the video stream, and the audio stream. Make sure to render both files to the same folder with the same name.

ALL I DID WAS:
MAKE MOVIE
BLU-RAY DISC
BURN BLU-RAY DISC
RENDER IMAGE AND BURN
THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY (I DIDN’T SEE THIS UNTIL AFTER I BURNED TO THE BLU-RAY
In the Vegas or Movie Studio "Render As" window, select MainConcept MPEG 2 as your format.
IT LOOKS LIKE I DID NOT SELECT MAINCONCEPT MPEG2 – I JUST USED WHAT THE TEMPLATE WAS ALREADY SET TO. LOOKS LIKE IT WAS SET TO:
VIDEO FORMAT = SONY AVC/MVC (*.MP4;*M2TS;*AVC)
AUDIO FORMAT = SONY WAVE64(*.W64)
Then select Blu-ray 1920x1080-60i, 25 Mbps video stream template (select 50i if you are in Europe).
BLU-RAY 1440X1080-60I, 8MPS VIDEO STREAM WAS SELECTED
This template will only encode the video stream.
When rendering the audio stream, we suggest one of the two types below:
Dolby Digital AC-3 (*.ac3) Stereo or 5.1 Surround (templates available reflect your project properties)
Wave (Microsoft) (*.wav) 48,000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo, PCM wave file
I GUESS THAT ANSWERS HOW I BURN THE AUDIO AND VIDEO SEPARATELY.
HOW DO I SET JUST THE AUDIO TO BE BURNED? BEING AS THE “BURN BLU-RAY DISC” HAS A SETTING FOR THE VIDEO AND AUDIO?
DOES THE SETTING AUTOMATICALLY MAKE IT SO THAT JUST THE AUDIO IS BURNED?
IT TAKES ME 10 HOURS TO BURN A 11GB HD PROJECT (1.5 HOURS LONG) TO MY HARD DRIVE SO AM I LOOKING AT 10 ADDITIONAL HOURS TO BURN THE SOUND SEPARATELY?
PROB WON’T TAKE AS LONG IF I AM JUST BURNING VIDEO AND AUDIO SEPARATE I ASSUME?
I ASSUME BOTH THE VOICE OVER TRACK AS WELL AS MUSIC TRACK WILL BOTH BE BURNED TOGETHER?
Make sure you set the Disc format to Blu-ray Disc.
To add the clips that you have rendered from Vegas or Movie Studio, in DVD Architect choose Insert > Media, and navigate to the rendered clips on your system.
This will add your media clip to your DVD Architect project.
UH – I’M NOT USING ARCHITECT – USING SONY MOVIE STUDIO PLATINUM 13
When you are ready to output your disc, choose the "Make Blu-ray Disc" option in the DVD Architect toolbar. Make sure you check "Use Current Project" when going through the Burn wizard.
