Why is my VHS Video capture in black and white?

The software is setup to PAL (I live in Denmark) and I'm using the composite cables. I have plugged the composite cables into a dvd player with composite output as well and the result is the same: no color. Does anyone know how to turn the colors on?

I'm using Video easy VS Edition on a Windows 7 64 bit laptop. Windows says that I have the latest driver for the USB 2863 device.

I found the solution :-)

In the setup for the USB device Secam was selected as the video standard for the video decoder. As I haven't realised until now, this could be changed to PAL_B. You just have to use the scroll bar in the drop down menu.

So now I grab the video signal in color.

Secam and PAL works almost the same except for the color. That's why you grab the video in B/W.
