I have installed Magix v15 and v16 on three different computers with different operaiting systems (XP, Vista) and varying amounts of RAM (currently 4 MB).  I have had and still do have frequent problems with the software locking.  Has any body anywhere managed to use any of these versions without such problems ?

If so I would like to know what configuration you are using @#$!

Hi, Read Your post, I Have Been Using All Magix from Ver 11 To 16, not had any problems, maybe a problem with how you are putting your music on, what I have done is rewrite and take out all the dots brackets and other stuff that would cause the listing to be unreadable out off all my tracks and Id3 tags, if you have not done this magix will find your listing un readable thats why you keep crashing.
Hope this helps you.
let me know.
David.

 I have just installed Music Maker 16 and whenever I use the chillout soundpool (and ONLY the chillout soundpool) the whole program locks up and I have to use task manager to close the program.  This has never happened to me with any other Magix program (and I use Movie Edit Pro and others) but as I love the possibilities of this soundpool it is very annoying

Have you tried resetting soundpools?
Are your soundpools on another drive?

I haven't had any stability issues with Music Maker 14-16, MEP14 and 16, Samplitude, etc. - but I have a pretty dedicated system with very few background processes running.
Faster harddrives usually help also.

Hi,

to Siddhi, have a look on : http://www.magix.info/fr/cant-read-the-first-pitch.knowledge.71253.html

and try to delete the files, they will be recreated.
