Why DVD burning is incomplete ?

Hardware :Sony vaio; Intel Pentium Dual cor T2390; 2GB DDR2 SDRAM; HDD 200 GB

OS:- Windows vista Home Premium

Problem: VHS to the file transfer OK

Burning DVD from file is incomplete

(therefore ? no formating?)

Hi there, don't know whether you are using Movies 7 or the Video Easy software, but you can check the following which ever you are using. Is the file you have captured definitely ok and plays correctly all the way through?

If you have Video Easy, make sure you've got the latest patch for it. What type of disc are you trying to burn?
