Why does photostory start prior to completing project

I m in the middle of putting project together and it does not allow me to continue the program just starts running the show. This just started. Using windows xp

More information is needed.

When does it start playing the project - immediately on opening or when?

Does the stop button stop the playback or is it ignored.

This may sound strange however - make sure that the space bar on your keyboard is not sticking.

It starts as I am adding new photos to the storyboard. I don't think my space bar is sticking and I originally advised I was working off windows xp but I meant windows 7. Also I keep getting messages interrupting me and freezing my computer in designer 7 . It appears to be in German so cannot understand it.

Can you post a screen shot(s) of the error message(s) or what the message says (German is OK)

Without the message it is difficult to know where to start with this issue.
