Why does,nt my new software,(Photo story on DVD MX DELUXE) recognise "Quick time" movie software ?

Photo story on DVD MX DELUXE does recognise movies taken with a Kodak ZX1 pocket video camera, but works with video shot with Canon G12 camera.

G12 "produces"  eg  MVI 3638 MOV, using "Quick time" software, works OK!.

Kodak ZX1 pocket video camera "produces" eg  238-0028 MOV, using "Quick time" software. Will work very occasionaly!

NOTE-  My old software,PHOTOSTORY ON DVD has no problem dealing with either format.

Why did I buy the DVD MX DELUXE version?, because I was assured by MAGIX that a  single frame could be captured from a movie sequence. And thats something else that does not work!!

Have you updated QT to the latest version - if not do so.

How are you trying to save a single frame - the correct method is to place the timeline cursor at the point in the video where you want to export the single frame, then select File, Export movie, Single frame as jpg.
