Why does my MagicMusicMaker17Premium stop working?

egevad wrote on 4/4/2011, 11:21 AM

My newly bought  MagicMusicMaker17Premium stops working all the time but my 16 premium still functions very well. Have someone else met that problem, too? I've upggraded my RealTek and I use Asio 1+2 - but still -it  closes down by itself after two or three minutes... I don't know why. That's all I got going on my PC - but that  doesnit help.

Hi egevad, make sure that you have got MM 17 uptodate as there is an important update for it. It may be that your security software, notably anti-virus has got in the way of the installation/ is still affecting it now. If you have any on this computer, get it configured correctly, and get MM 17 set as an exception.  As it's new, if your problem persists raise a support ticket on the MAIGX support website. Cheers, M o' L.

Thanks!

I've bought a support ticket, made a phonecall  and done a syscheck - so it'll be solved in a near futrure, I hope. And if it gets credibly stabile - some nice programs for video-making will be purchased. Not the heaviest - but let's sat Photo Story - fits capacity of my computer. Yor can find my first musicvideos on youtube - search with my nick: algotezza! Music made with MM16 premium - movies with Windows MovieMaker - but hopefullyy with PhotoStory in the near future to get it even more slick!

Hi egevad, good to hear that you're active in getting your problems sorted. Small tip. You may feel that Photostory makes more sense for what you're doing, but I would always go for MEP 17. It doesn't cost very much more, but is a far more powerful editing tool, and even has the features should you choose to do a simple slideshow. As you're into videos, does it really make sense to save perhaps 10 UK pounds?

Try both out as  a free trial, remember to extend to 30 days, then decide. The proof of the pudding is always in the eating. Here's the link for you.
