I think that because Microsoft does not support Windows 2000. I doubt very seriously they want to put the time and resources to test anything that Microsoft itself no longer supports. Therefore, if there was an issue with the 2000 system, they would not get any support from Microsoft to remedy it, and that could become a liability.

 

That is just my thought on why an older OS is not listed as supported.
