Why does Audio Cleaner pro for MAC not rcognize my super drive on my Mac

snowgrind wrote on 7/6/2014, 2:29 AM

When I try to burn a cd after arranging it with Audio Cleaner Pro, it does not recognize the super drive on my MACBOOK Pro nor does it recognize an external burner when it comes time to burn a cd. I keep getting a window that pops up and asks to insert a blank cd into the drive, which is ridiculous since there already is a blank cd in the drive already.

Looks I wasted my money on a product that does not perform.

I have tried posting this question before and no one has replied.

Tech support just suck ass here as basically it is my fault it does not respond and no one knows why or how to fix it.

I am running this software:

MAGIX AUdio Cleaner Pro for MAC
Version 1.0.3 (331c814)

Hi

. . . .I keep getting a window that pops up and asks to insert a blank cd into the drive . . .

Then the burner is being recognised ni some form or another.

. . . . as basically it is my fault it does not respond . . . .

If you had done your research ie a Google search you would have found there is an issue with the Macbook Pro not recognising the Superdrive - see here for the fix.

. . . . Looks I wasted my money on a product that does not perform. . . . Tech support just suck ass . . .

Comments like this are not constructive - the product performs very well otherwise there would be hundreds of complaints about it; - Tech support are not here - this is a user forum where users of Magix software help each other.

Just tried the PRAM reset and still nothing. I still keep getting the same pop up window asking to insert a blank cd.

The superdrive does work because I can use other applications to burn and no issues whatsoever.

Updated the softwrae to the latest version, updated my OS and still the same result.

As for searching on google for this issue, it only returns solutions for windows.

The issue is not the superdrive, the issue is that the application does not recognize the super drive nor an external burner.

I am having exactly the same problem, as is the person reviewing it on Amazon, so this does need looking into.
