Why can't you copy Revolta2 and paste using the same effect?

I choose to play the Revolta2 sequence with Classic Synths n stuff 80s poly synth and I copy it and paste it in the same song, it defaults back to Revolta2 classic piano etc. What's worse is that its not even labled with what effect is being played, so you have to go back and try to figure out what you chose. Am I missing something? I think its lame if it was designed like this.

It's probably because when you copy a MIDI sequence to another track, it is copying only the MIDI information. It would seem the MIDI instrument used is associated with the track the instrument is used in. Thus, the MIDI object will revert to the default instrument when dragged to a new track.

When you release the music editing software you've designed, all of these issues will be resolved then, right?
