According to suggestion #2, when I read the answer it seems everything will work fine. No need of re-install. I do not use Windows 7 therefore, I can not say 100%.

For suggestion #2, I hope you know where is Synth Folder, copy the entire Synth Folder Paste that in My Music(for example). After pasting in My Music from  Magix Music Maker 16 Click Add button browse your Synth folder in My Music it should be added.

For your Track Synthesizer and "Object Synthesizer I never thought of that sorry

Thank you for detailed information. It seems main cause of problem of yours is Windows 7 not friendly with Music Maker or Music Maker does not like Windows.

I got two solutions:

1. Copy the synth folder some where on computer such as My Music then add vst plugin path.

Or one user CBY_TLSE answered about windows 7. I also like that idea you better check please.

Note: Are you using Music Maker 16 or 16 Premium, you said

3.) The set-up files asks where I want to install the VST(i) plug-in, and I send it to where my other synths are located (C: ProgramData - MAGIX - MagixMaker16premium - Synth)

I will also answer your questions:

 

How and where can I get the synthesizer dll files.

Those file are in a synth folder and that depends on your windows os.

Such as in case of Vista( I am using)click on C drive then click on TOOLS then Folder Options(O) then Click on View and Show all files it will show hidden files click on PROGRAM DATA in Vista( in Xp may be APPLICATION DATA)

Open it and click on Magix folder then Music Maker 16 inside it there is a Synth folder.

 

To add dll files of synthesizer from Music Maker click on Add button and locate desired synthesizer and click on it then OK repeat the process. Better check my answer.

 

As of now - when I installed Magix Music Maker 16 - all I have access to is Robota. Do I have others? And if so, where are they at? If I find it, what steps do I take to install them?

 

Just follow my advice given above. I hope you are not using trial version. If you are using download version did you install free contents? I hope you are not in easy mode.

 

IMPORTANT: IF YOU USE SHOW HIDDEN FILES PLEASE HIDE WHEN YOU ARE DONE.
