Why???

why every time i press play my software freezes, i used mmm21 prem for two year and the past two weeks have had this same issue, so i then bought mmm24 prem and it still does it! how can this be fixed?

@Tad-Aldrich Navigate to File > Settings > Program Settings > Audio/MIDI. Here select an ASIO driver, for example the Music Maker ASIO driver. Then click on the Advanced button to open the driver settings. Select your audio input and audio output and set the buffer size to something reasonable like 512 samples. Does this help?
